Opaque pigments, ink, pencil, and white wash on paper, comprising two full-length vertical portraits of Qajar courtly ladies, one wearing a gold-embroidered dark blue skirt with a bright orange jacket, encrusted bazubands on her upper arm, and a floral termeh shawl loosely wrapped around her head, the latter with a bright red skirt with floral patterns and a diaphanous light blue blouse, both set on small album page borders with concentric bands of gold vegetal scrolls, mounted, glazed and framed, each 24.5cm x 18cm including the frame.
