Cutch circa 1890
A late 19th century Anglo – Indian unmarked silver mug

Raj period. Of rounded baluster form upon a collet foot with notched bands, the scroll handle formed as a chased cobra. The body with chased decoration of foliate scrolls and rosettes, as well a hunting depiction of figures on horseback pursuing tigers and boar, also a caparisoned elephant.

Height – 10.5 cm / 4.1 inches

Weight – 299 grams / 9.61 ozt
