A PAIR OF CHINESE GREEN-GLAZED 'DRAGON' BOWLS.

Qing Dynasty, Qianlong mark and probably of the period.

With rounded sides and an everted rim supported on an upright foot, incised around the exterior with two dragons, each chasing a flaming pearl above waves and among clouds and flames, the white base with a six character mark in underglaze blue, 12cm diameter, 6cm H. (2)

Provenance: acquired in 2007, formerly in an English private collection, Eaton Square since circa 1900, by repute.
