A late 19^th century Anglo – Indian unmarked silver bowl, Kashmir circa 1890

Raj period. Of ‘lotus’ lobed circular form upon a spreading circular foot, the rim with pierced chased foliate forms, the lobed body with chased decoration of rosette pattern, the front with a shield shape cartouche chased in Urdu script, all surmounted by a crown.
