A CHINESE YIXING ZISHA DOUBLE-WALLED TEAPOT AND COVER.

Qing Dynasty, Kangxi period.

Of octagonal section, the body with alternating square and oval pierced panels with bamboo, prunus and pine decorations, separated by impressed floral sprays, the square section spout emerging from a beast's head, opposite a rectlinear handle, the domed cover supporting a squirrel form finial above pierced flowering plum branches, 14.2cm wide. (2)
