Arabic manuscript on paper, 380ff. and 2 fly-leaves, each folio with 13ll., in black naskh script, red vocalisations, the opening bifolio heavily illuminated in gold and polychromes, sura headings in white on gold burnished ground in illuminated cartouches, aya markings in gold rosettes, catchwords, marginal rosette illumination, in gold and black rules, in gilt tooled flapped brown calf, inscribed by Abdullah Al-Hosseini, son of Haj Abdi Al-Larandawi, pupil of the famous Ismail Efendi, dated 1118AH (1706), the text panel 12.5cm x 7.2cm, the folio 18.5cm x 12.2cm.
