Three autograph letters signed ('Ed. Elgar' or 'Edward Elgar') to various recipients, one mentioning special directions for the copyst saying "they are plainer there than in the M.s. score, except in section Vi", one page, integral blank, red stamp to written page, 8vo, Hereford, 29 September 1907; in a later letter Elgar asks if he can have "today until Monday a proof of score of the new suite? I want to go through it with Mr Wood", one page, integral blank, 8vo, Langham Hotel, London, stamped 2 November 1907; the third letter, addressed to "Dear West", says "I find the arrangement excellent and thank you for the trouble you have taken. One or two suggestions are on the proof but don't adopt them unless you think fit", one page, pencil annotations to the reverse, 4to, Hereford, 12 July 1908 (3)
