Comprising two volumes of Persian manuscripts on gold-sprinkled paper, one volume 54ff. and 6 fly-leaves, the latter 100ff. and 2 fly-leaves, each folio with four columns of seven vertical pairs of 2ll. diagonal chalipa quatrains, in black ink nasta’liq and shikasteh scripts, many margins with floral illumination in gold, chapter headings in red ink, catchwords, the bigger volume with the story of Sultan Mahmood and Ayaz by Zolali Khansari, and sonnets by others; the second volume including Saghi Nameh by Morshed Yazdjerdi, in red, black and gold rules, in a number of hands, in modern brown bindings, the text panel 20.5cm x 12.5cm, the folio 27.5cm x 18cm.
