An early 20th century Chinese export silver box, Canton circa 1910 marked Zhuo, retailed by Kwon Man Shing of Hong Kong
Qing dynasty. Of rounded circular form raised upon four embossed feet formed as dragons heads with scroll undersides, domed pull off lid. The body with chased decoration of trailing Chinese dragons amidst clouds against a textured ground, repeated to the lid in three bands all centred with a vacant circular cartouche formed as the scared pearl. Gilt interior. Marked underneath with artisan mark 卓 (ZHUO), numeral 90, and retailer’s mark KMS.
