A CHINESE INCISED ARMORIAL DISH.

Qing Dynasty, circa 1730.

Carved with concentric scrolls around the central blossom, all under the pale bluish glaze, the rim heightened with gilt displaying the Portuguese arms of Cosme Damião Pinto Pereira painted in polychrome enamels and gilt, 23.5cm diameter.
