Opaque pigments on paper, comprising two vertical compositions depicting floral studies of rose bushes, with large roses, rosebuds, foliage, further wildflowers, and birds, matching the standard aesthetic of the beloved Persian topos of the rose and the nightingale (gol-o-bolbol), one composition signed and dated in faded red ink on the lower right corner, the date still readable 1271 AH (1854), each mounted on white cardboard frames, each folio 23.5cm x 17cm.
