The rust-red field with stellar-flowerhead octagons around apricot long hooked panel containing multicoloured linked and hooked lozenges. Aprocot stellar -lowerhead cross panel above and below. In an ivory border of open rosettes between barber-pole stripes, approx: 3ft.11in. x 2ft.10in.(119cm. x 86cm.) Very good type and very good colour combination. Design is well drawn. Bold appearance. Apart of old small reapir at one end and very small localized wear at one side, this rug has good pile. Ends with original kilim and fringes, slightly frying in few places. Flat selvages slightly fraying. In general this rug is in good usable conditon. Very nice example for this type.
