Comprising a gold-damascened steel ewer, of pyriform shape, resting on a splayed circular foot, rising to a tall tapering ringed neck, the dome-shaped lid with a tall faceted triangular finial, a sinuous handle with a stylised dragon head terminal on one side and a tall straight spout bent at the top (damaged and detached), the exterior engraved with lush floral sprays and foliage framed within gold-damascened cusped cartouches and arabesque medallions, 44.5cm high; and a tinned copper ewer, with compressed globular body, engraved with a variety of vegetal motifs and calligraphic cartouches, the calligraphy extracted from Sonnet 5 of Hafez, 39cm high.
