An extremely fine silk Qum runner, central Persia

Approx: 282cm. x 62cm. Very good example for this type, seldom found in runner size woven in full silk. Design is very nicely drawn with very good colour combination. This runner has fulll pile, soft and shiny silk quality. Extremely fine weave, approx: 10 x 10 knots per sq. cm; woven on silk foundation. Selvages original. Ends with original kilim and fringes. In general, this runner is in very good condition throughout. Very good furnishing size, sought after on the market. Attractive and elegant piece.
