Notes:Tommaso Aroldi was an Italian painter, architect, and designer known for his versatile artistic contributions in the early 20th century, particularly in the region of Casalmaggiore, Lombardy. Trained in Parma and Florence under figures like Giovanni Fattori, Aroldi began his career with paintings influenced by the Macchiaioli and early modernist movements, later expanding into decorative arts, architecture, scenography, and graphic design. He played a key role in shaping the artistic and urban character of his local area through church decorations, public building facades, and design work linked to the local jewellery industry. His legacy was recently celebrated in a major retrospective at the Museo Diotti.
