Rare album featuring autographs, musical quotations, sketches, watercolours, poems and notes by several prominent Spanish figures of the 1940s, mostly inscribed to the vendor's grandmother Palmira Zavala Iriberri, general secretary of the Falangist illustrated magazine "Vertice". Highlights including: final page of a speach draft signed by General Franco, the content featuring corrections and cancellations; Regino Sainz de la Maza; Francisco Cotarelo; Pedro Pruna (original pen and ink work); Manuel Machado; Benito Perojo; Dario Fernandez Florez, Carlos Arijita; Álvaro Cunqueiro; Joaquin Garcia Morato; Pilar Primo de Rivera; Rafael Sánchez Mazas; Tina Gasco; Fernando Granada; Jesus Guridi; Ricardo Calvo; Arturo Cuyas de la Vega; Eduardo Marquina; Lili Alvarez; Juan Balmonte; Jose' Caballero (surrealist ink and watercolour drawing); Adriano del Valle; Joaquin Turina; Jacinto Benavente; Pablo Sorozabal; Francisco Cotarelo; Jose Campua; Jose' Cubiles; Jesus Olasagasti (black ink sketch); Gonzalo Queipo De Llano and others, also including: a set of signatures by Galeazzo Ciano, Eberhard Von Strohrer, Guido Viola di Campalto, Ramon Serrano Suner and the Japanese ambassador to Spain; a set of signatures of twenty-two White Russian soldiers who fought with Franco's forces during the Spanish Civil War, as well as an inscription in Cyrillic and the unit's insignia patch; minor browning throughout, one page detached, dark brown leather boards, bearing Palmira's incised initials "P Z" on the front cover secured with two brass clasps, some wear to spine extremities and edges, front hinge split, 4to, 1937-1952.
