An early 18th century Dutch silver miniature ‘toy’ teapot, Amsterdam 1738 by Willem van Strant (active 1727-1742)

Of baluster form upon a short collet foot, the curved spout opposite a C scroll handle, with a pull off domed lid with a ball finial. Marked underneath with makers mark, town mark and date letter D, the lid unmarked.

Length – 4.6 cm / 1.9 inches

Weight – 30 grams / 0.96 ozt
