A Victorian sterling silver vinaigrette, Birmingham 1846 by Yapp & Woodward

Of shaped rectangular form, the lid with an asymmetrical vacant cartouche otherwise quartered with engine turned patterns between engraved foliate scroll bands, the underside with engine turned decoration. The interior with a gilt hinged pierced grill of foliate scrolls. Fully marked to lid, part-marks to base, grill unmarked.
