A Victorian sterling silver gilt vinaigrette, Birmingham 1846 by Yapp & Woodward
Of shaped oval form with waisted sides, the lid with a shield cartouche engraved with initials RM in gothic script, otherwise quartered with engine turned patterns between engraved foliate scroll bands, the underside with engraved foliate scrolls. The interior with a gilt hinged pierced grill of foliate scrolls. Fully marked to lid, part-marks to base, grill unmarked.
