A SATSUMA VASE BY KINKOZAN.

Meiji period.

Of bulbous shape, painted in silver, enamels and gilt, with two shaped panels enclosing trailing grape vine and chrysanthemums, bordered by raised ‘bamboo’ frame, the surrounding with silver scrolling foliage, signed Kinkozan kore tsukuru, with impressed mark Kinkozan, 18cm H.
