A NORTH-WEST PERSIAN RUNNER

The indigo field with small rosettes around single column of hooked, floral medallions and panels. In an ivory shaped panel and delicate angular floral vine between floral and panel stripes, approx: 440cm. x 104cm. Apart of tiny wear in one or two places to the pile, this runner has good pile, soft wool quality. Selvages original with touches with slight fraying in places. Ends with original kilim, one with slight wear to the kilim. Tiny discolouration at border on one side. The charcoal-brown is slightly corroded. In general this runner is in very good usable condition. Very elegant and good furnishing piece. Woven on wool warps.
