The soft red field with large light-blue indented medallion with pendants containing angular palmette vine enclosing radiating hooked floral medallion. Spandrels similar. In shaded beige border of polychome rosettes, palmettes and delicate floral vine between ffloral meander and plain stripes, approx: 6ft.4in. x 4ft.5in.(193cm. x 135cm.). Very nice bold design and good colour combinaton. This rug has localized wear to the pile in few places, down to knot collar and below. Ends with short fringes, one with touches of fraying. Selvages rebound. In general this rug is in good usable condition. Despite imperfections this rug remains elegant. Good furnishing piece.
