A George IV sterling silver vinaigrette, Birmingham 1829 by John Lawrence and Co

Of rectangular form with reeded sides and engine turned decoration to the hinged lid and underside. The lid with a rectangular cartouche engraved Jane in gothic script. The gilt interior with a hinged pierced grill of a central rosette medallion surrounded by foliate scrolls. Fully marked between base and lid, the grill unmarked.
