A George IV sterling silver gilt vinaigrette, Birmingham 1828 by Nathaniel Mills
Of rectangular form with chamfered edges and chased foliate rims, the hinged lid with chased decoration of flower heads and foliate scrolls against a textured ground. The underside with engine turned decoration. The interior with a hinged pierced grill of foliate scrolls. Fully marked between base and lid, the grill with lion passant only.
