A FINE PAIR OF SECOND HALF 19TH CENTURY FRENCH GILT BRONZE MOUNTED CHINESE PORCELAIN CANDELABRA, IN THE LOUIS XV STYLE, the blue Chinese porcelain baluster vases surmounted by fixed pierced covers formed as foliage and rocailles and surmounted by flambeau finials, raised on Rococo style scrolling circular bases cast with shells and acanthus leaves, each issuing asymmetric foliate scrolling branches terminating in leafy collars and urn shaped candle nozzles,

Please note - the Chinese porcelain vases are not an exact pair, one is slightly smaller than the other and a slightly different colour.

These impressive and ornate vase candelabra feature mounts of exceptional quality which can only have been produced by one of the renowned Parisian bronziers working in the second half of the 19th century, such as Maison Millet or Henri Picard.
