Persian text on yellow paper, the calligraphic composition featuring four half lines of poetry in sepia ink in nasta’liq script in three different pens, the poetry an extract from Fereydoun Moshiri (1926 - 2000), the paper illuminated in silver and turquoise with scrolling floral foliage, signed Mehdi Fallah (born in Babol, Mazandaran, 1956), the verso practice on marbled paper, set in a modern mount, 30cm x 42cm, 42cm x 55.5cm including the mount.

Mehdi Fallah, an Iranian calligrapher and musician, is internationally exhibited. The present poem is an excerpt from the well-known lyrics of a much-loved song in the pre-revolutionary Golha recordings of Radio Iran, no. 73. The panel pays tribute to those words and music in a typical holistic Persian style.
