A PRESSED FLOWERS AND TINTED PHOTOGRAPHS ALBUM IN CARVED OLIVE WOOD BINDING
Jerusalem, Holy Land, first half 20th century

An inventory of pressed flowers from the Holy Land interspersed with a selection of hand-coloured black and white photographs from the major landmarks and sites of the region, each flower with a tri-lingual caption in English, German and French, set in a carved clear olive wood binding, engraved with a view of the Dome of the Rock, located on the Temple Mount in the Old City of Jerusalem, inscribed Jerusalem on the bottom, set within a coloured woods-inlaid fretwork band, 30.5cm x 41cm the binding, 30cm x 40cm the album folios.
