A late 18^th / early 19^th century French or Austrian portrait miniature set unmarked gold mounted tortoiseshell snuff box, circa 1800

Of circular form with incurved sides, the lid with a glazed oil on ivory of a young woman in a red shawel by Jan von Neesen (Austrian fl. c. 1786-1802), signed to the lower right ‘J.V. Neesen’, glazed in a convex lens, with gold bezel. The interior gold lined.
