Stirrup form with open back and incised decoration. The carnelian seal intaglio cut with an impaled coat of arms in a shield shape cartouche below a crest of an arm in armour embowed holding a cross pattée fitchée, in a Roman setting.

The arms are for Mapleton impaling Bree
for James Henry Mapleton (1778-1859) who married Elizabeth Bree (1784-1802) in 1812.
Elizabeth was the daughter of William Bree (1754-1822) and Elizabeth Mallory (1755-1826)
