A SET OF TWELVE 20TH CENTURY CHINESE PAINTINGS OF FIGURES, painted on rice paper, depicting a variety of scenes to be found in the market place or on the road, including a flower seller, a scholar viewing a painting scroll, a mother and children with a broom seller, a flute player, a jester with a drum, fish sellers, a firewood porter, an official with an edict, a wok seller, a group of well-dressed ladies, two men playing a game of boule and some ladies sampling a silk sellers wares, all framed and glazed with blue ribbon borders, each 23cm high x 33cm wide (including frame) (12)
