A mixed group of sterling silver flatware – including a George II dessert spoon, London 1729 by William Petley

Hanoverian pattern, single drop heel, engraved with a contemporaneous crest of a stag statant, with initials below A*C, and a George I dessert spoon, London 1724, makers mark obscured, crested the same. Together with a George III basting spoon, Old English pattern initialled C, London 1768 by Thomas and William Chawner and a sauce ladle London 1807 by John Blake. (4)
