Two Dutch delft (de Twee Scheepjes)  blue and white square herring-dishes ('Haringschaaltje') circa 1750 - 70, with AP monogram for Anthonij Pennis,  the smaller painted with a lakeside scene with fishermen in a boat before a castle on the shoreline, trees and mountains beyond, the other depicting merchants landing their barrels on the shoreline, both with the crimped rims and border decoration of blue scrolls and foliate garlands, crown topped armorial crest to the corner of each.  19cm x 19cm and 22cm x22cm respectively, together with a Delft baluster vase, height 28cm (3) Provenance: Private London Collection
