A cased early 20th century Norwegian sterling silver gilt and guilloche enamel snuff box, by Marius Hammer, import marked for London 1932 by Henry James Hulbert, retailed by Asprey

Of oval form, the hinged lid and sides with engine turned decoration topped with dark red translucent enamel. Gilt interior. Housed within a fitted tooled leather case, branded for Asprey, 156 Bond St London. Fully and part-marked, signed Apsrey underneath.
