The field with scrolling floral and leafy vine linking polychrome palmettes around bold double floral medallion with pendants. Apricot and ivory floral and arabesque spandrels. In palmette, floral panel and scrolling floral vine between similar ivory stripes. Outer plain stripes. Tis rug has full pile with very soft wool quality. Both ends and selvages original. Tiny fraying to the fringe in one corner. Very fine weave, approx;m9 x 8 knots per sq, cm; woven on silk foundation. Very nicely balanced colours. In general this rug is in very good condition.
