Enjoy an exhilarating ride out with Jeremy Vine

Avid cyclist and enthusiastic supporter of Chiswick House, Jeremy Vine is offering one lucky person the rare opportunity to ride with him on his penny farthing. Or, if you feel it’s a bit of a stretch to ride his, bring your own bike to ride alongside. Not only will you delight in conversation with Jeremy, but he’ll also give you a signed copy of his new book The Diver and The Lover: A Novel of Love, Sacrifice and the Art of Obsession, released earlier this month.

Jeremy says about Chiswick House and the auction: ‘It’s so important to have such an amazing green space free and open to the public. These historic grounds are precious to us and our wellbeing today. I feel Chiswick House’s charity auction is an opportunity to bring the community together again and raise much needed funds to maintain this beautiful place.’

Jeremy is one of the UK's best-known broadcasters and a local Chiswick resident. He presents a weekday show on Radio 2, as well as Jeremy Vine on Channel 5, a daily current affairs programme, and he fronts Eggheads, one of the longest-running quiz shows in British TV history. Somehow he has the time to write books – Jeremy is also an accomplished journalist and has previously published two works of non-fiction.
