AN EARLY BISQUE PORCELAIN BUST OF LORD BYRON Cobridge, England, c.1828, maker Samuel Alcock & Co. A three-quarter length bust of Lord Byron on a rectangular plinth, portraying Lord Byron wearing classical-inspired garments, his neck and the upper part of his chest bare, his hair styled into thick curls, printed blue text verso 'Published as the Act Directs by Saml. Alcock & Co., Cobridge, Staffordshire, October 31st, 1828' with beehive motif, 23.5cm high.
