A FINE UNUSUAL SAROUK-FERAGHAN RUNNER, WEST PERSIA approx: 12ft.4in. x 3ft.5in.(376cm. x 104cm.) This runner has full pile and very well drawn design. Design is well drawn with multicoloured rosettes, leaves and angular vine. In an ivory border of bold flowerheads and serrated vine between floral meander and plain stripes. Very flight abrash at one end, common in had woven rugs, when slightly different dye was used, fading slightly with the age. In general this runner is in very good condition throughout. Seldom found in runner size. Elegant piece.
