A FINE ANTIQUE CHINESE CARPET approx: 9ft. x 6ft.2in.(274cm. x 188cm.) The light blue field with three pictorial medallions, the central one flanked by cloudbands. Scrolling vine and key pattern open spandrels. In medium blue border of pictorial and landscape cartouches together with floral sprays between birds, floral motif and plain stripes. This carpet has full pile, soft wool quality. Selvages original. Ends with short fringes, secured. Tiny scattered staining in few places, barely visible. In general this carpet is in very good usable condition. Unusual  and well drawn design for this type with very good colour combination. Attractive and very good furnishing piece
