Of deep rounded shape, resting on a flat unglazed plain base, the circular rim with a spout on one side, the revival decoration painted in black, green, grey and red on a white-slip body, the interior filled with lotus flowers, carnations, stylised saz leaves, rosettes and vegetal scrolls, the more elaborate exterior with a band below the rim of pseudo-floriated Kufic calligraphic cartouches interspersed with lobed floral medallions, the main body with a decorative frieze of tall green cypress trees alternating with Chinese ru cloud motifs shaped as arabesques, 33cm diam. and 14.5cm high.
