An early 20th century Chinese export silver ‘money’ bowl, Shanghai circa 1910 retailed by Wang Hing
Qing dynasty, of hemispherical form with pieced and embossed decoration peonies, with a vacant circular cartouche to the front. The underside with a pierced symbol for money. Fitted with a clear glass liner. Marked underneath with numerals 90, retailers mark WH, artisan mark HOU XIANG 厚祥 also with an Austrian import mark for Vienna (1902-37).
