An early 20th century German 900 standard silver and guilloche enamel cigarette case, probably Pforzheim circa 1920

Of square form with rounded sides, the lid with engine turned decoration covered with translucent white and lavender enamel in a swirling pattern. Plain obverse, gilt interior, push button release. Stamped 900 only to interior edge. Length – 8.3 cm / 3.25 inches
