A mid-19th century Chinese Export silver snuff box, Canton circa 1860 retailed by Mun Kee

Qing dynasty. Modelled as a book, the top with flat chased foliate decoration reserved with a ring punched ground centred with a vacant rectangular cartouche. Gilt interior. Marked to the interior of the lid with retailer’s mark MK and an incuse artisan mark XUAN 璿.
