AN EARLY STAFFORDSHIRE WHITE GLAZED POTTERY BUST OF LORD BYRON English, c. 1826 A glazed white pottery bust of Lord Byron, standing on an integral rectangular plinth incised 'LORD' and 'BYRON' in capital letters on two different faces, portraying Lord Byron in typical Romantic attire, wearing a soft collar shirt open at the neck, a waistcoat and a voluminous cloak, the interior of the object hollow, painted in white and glazed, 21cm high.
