PROPERTY FROM THE MOITA COLLECTION OF GANDHARA ART
Ancient region of Gandhara, 2nd - 3rd century

Of rectangular shape, the sides flattened and the centre deeply carved, depicting a tall column ending in a flamboyant corinthian capital, with a braided band wrapped around the shaft, mounted on a later wooden base, 27.2cm x 11.4cm including the mount.
