AN UNUSUAL TIBETAN CARPET approx: 9ft.11in. x 6ft.11in.(302cm. x 211cm.) Excellent bold design with three floral roundels and key-patters spandrels. All surrounded by multiple borders of sea-wave, cloudbands, angular floral vine and key-patters motifs. Very good colour combination. Unusual size for this type. This carpet has full pile of very fine and soft wool and in general is in very good condition throughout. Ends original. Selvages also original with touches of wool frying in few places. Very elegant and attractive piece.
