The ground of four joined lengths of white canvas, each woven with a pair of double indigo stripes, appliqued in blue, red and white with a central circle of radiating motifs, surrounded by geometric patterns, beneath a bold calligraphic line of good tidings to the believers in white applique (Qur’an 61:13, Victory from Allah and an imminent conquest), an ewer with the word Allah, a schematic tughra, and above a crescent and a star, 285cm x 170cm.
