A Victorian sterling silver parcel- gilt card case, Birmingham 1851 by Mary Wheeler & James Bartholomew Cronin

Of rectangular form with shaped edge, with engraved decoration of a basket of flowers reserved in C scrolls and corned with flowers sprigs, a vacant cartouche to the front, all against an engine turned ground. Fully marked to base bezel, the lid with lion passant only.
