Chiswick Auctions is delighted to present our upcoming Fine Photographs auction, an exciting opportunity to acquire an array of vintage, modern, and contemporary photography, going under the hammer on Thursday, 27 November.
Offering a diverse selection of prints from across the history of the medium, highlights include seminal works by British photographers including Bill Brandt, John Davies, Graham Smith, and Fay Godwin; an outstanding selection of landscape photography, featuring works by Koyo Okada, Harry Callahan, Stephen Shore, and Richard Misrach, among others; and a wide-range of alluring fashion photographs by Sarah Moon, Horst P Horst, Irving Penn, David Bailey, Guy Bourdin, and Juergen Teller.
We are also pleased to present works from two private collections, including Global Vision: Contemporary Photographs from a Private London Collection, a curated selection of fresh-to-market images from international artists, including Richard Mosse, Mikhael Subotzky, Lorna Simpson, Vasantha Yogananthan, and others; as well as Part Two of From a Private Collection: 30 Years of Passionate Collecting, featuring works from a distinguished private collection, assembled over more than three decades with instinct, emotion, and a deep appreciation for the photographic medium.
