This January, our Old Masters and 19th Century Art sale presents a distinguished selection of paintings and works on paper spanning the 17th to 19th centuries, complemented by a curated offering of fine frames.
Among the highlights are a selection of works by British artists, to include two portraits by Sir Joshua Reynolds, a selection of works by Sir Thomas Lawrence, a miniature by John Smart and a study by John Constable, among many others. The sale also includes a collection of Italian Grand Tour Fan designs, a collection of Dutch and Flemish tavern scenes from a Private London Collection, a Parisian street scene by Eugène Galien-Laloue, and two sketches by Honoré Daumier.
