The Lady Barbara Speake Collection of Dolls’ Houses and Miniatures brings together over 100 lots from the personal collection of a remarkable creative figure. Filled with charm, character and imagination, the sale offers a rare opportunity to acquire miniature worlds shaped by Barbara’s eye for storytelling, design and detail, from nostalgic shopfronts to striking modernist interiors.

This collection represents 40 years of work by a dedicated and cultured collector. With houses and scenes depicting centuries of styles, to scenes of everyday life and snapshots of her own. From her first dolls house (aged 5) which she rejected, she fell in love with them in her 40s and carried on collecting and furnishing them throughout her life.
